HiMod carbon

Unger nLITE Connect HiMod carbon poles

The Unger nLITE Connect HiMod poles are designed for professional pure water cleaning at great heights.

Their high-modulus carbon construction offers superior rigidity to the Carbon 24K range, helping to reduce flex and improve movement transmission to the brush as the system length increases.

High-modulus carbon with a strength of 360 GPa

The HiMod range uses a carbon material with a strength rating of 360 GPa specified by Unger.

This increased rigidity makes it easier to control the brush in long configurations, especially during frequent work at elevated heights.

HiMod UC67G main handle

The UC67G is the main telescopic handle in the nLITE Connect HiMod range.

Extended length of 6.63 metres.
Approximate folded length of 1.87 metres.
Four telescopic sections.
Approximate weight of 1.5 kg.
Round shape and maximum outside diameter of 35 mm.

It can be used on its own for medium-height work or as the main element of an extended configuration using compatible HiMod extensions.

HiMod UC35G extension

The UC35G extension allows you to increase the length of the main handle.

Extended length of 3.41 metres.
Approximate folded length of 1.91 metres.
Two telescopic sections.
Approximate weight of 0.7 kg.

Extensions must belong to the same HiMod range and be assembled according to the maximum configuration specified by Unger.

Working height of up to approximately 17 metres

Unger recommends the nLITE Connect HiMod system for working heights of up to approximately 17 metres.

The actual achievable height depends on the number of authorised extensions, the operator’s height, the pole angle, the position of the glass and the accessories fitted.

nLITE Connect modular system

The system consists of a main handle and compatible telescopic extensions. This allows the length to be adapted to each job without always using the full configuration.

The components maintain a maximum outside diameter of 35 mm to prevent the grip area from becoming excessively large when extensions are added.

nLITE Connect angle adapter

The nLITE Connect angle adapter allows the brush to be connected and positioned in relation to the pole.

Its modular system has various combinable components and uses the FastLock connection to secure the brush. It is designed for nLITE Connect round aluminium, HiMod and Ultra HiMod handles.

External hose routing

In the nLITE Connect HiMod range, the hose is routed along the outside of the pole using compatible fastening components.

Before connecting the system, check the hose diameter, the connections on the pure water equipment and the accessories fitted to the brush.

When should you choose HiMod?

For frequent professional work at great heights.
When more rigidity is needed than with Carbon 24K.
For working configurations of up to approximately 17 metres.
When a modular system with a main handle and extensions is preferred.

For lower heights, Carbon 24K poles may be sufficient. For configurations of up to approximately 20 metres, see the Ultra HiMod range.

HiMod compared with Carbon 24K and Ultra HiMod

The HiMod range occupies an intermediate position between Carbon 24K and Ultra HiMod:

Compared with Carbon 24K: it offers greater rigidity and is designed for higher configurations.
Compared with Ultra HiMod: it has lower rigidity and a lower recommended maximum height, but allows work up to approximately 17 metres.

Compatibility with pure water systems

HiMod poles can be connected to DI filters, HydroPower Nano equipment and reverse osmosis systems using the appropriate hoses, valves and connections.

Before connecting the pole, check the coupling type, the hose diameter and the accessories included with the filtration equipment.

High Rise kits with HiMod pole

Some pure water kits for great heights include a HiMod main handle, extensions, brush, hose and filtration equipment.

The contents vary depending on the kit. Check each product page to confirm the configured length and included components.

Safe use at great heights

Before starting, check the locking of each section, the connections between the main handle and extensions, the hose, the angle adapter and the brush attachment.

Do not exceed the maximum configuration specified by Unger. Maintain a safe distance from power lines, wiring and other obstacles, as carbon poles conduct electricity.
