Unger nLITE Connect aluminium poles

The Unger nLITE Connect aluminium poles allow you to work with pure water systems on windows, façades and other elevated surfaces from the ground.

They are a strong and cost-effective option for low and medium heights. Compared with carbon poles, they are heavier, but offer a more affordable entry into the nLITE system for occasional or professional work at moderate heights.

4.5 and 6 metre main poles

The aluminium range includes two main telescopic poles:

AN45G: 4.50 metre main pole, consisting of four sections and with a folded length of approximately 1.34 metres.
AN60G: 6.00 metre main pole, consisting of four sections and with a folded length of approximately 1.71 metres.

Both models have a maximum outer diameter of 35 mm and a yellow warning zone that helps prevent the accidental separation of sections.

AN30G aluminium extension

The AN30G extension has an extended length of 3 metres and consists of two telescopic sections.

It can be combined with an AN45G or AN60G main pole. Unger permits the use of a maximum of one AN30G extension with this range.

Recommended working height

With a main pole and the permitted extension, Unger recommends the nLITE Connect aluminium poles for working heights of up to approximately 9 metres.

The actual achievable height depends on the operator's height, the angle of the pole, the position of the window and the accessories installed.

When should you choose an aluminium pole?

When working mainly at low or medium heights.
For occasional pure water work.
When you want to reduce the initial investment.
When the additional weight compared with carbon is not a significant disadvantage.

For frequent use, extended working days or work at greater heights, a carbon pole may offer lower weight, greater rigidity and better brush control.

Compatibility with the nLITE system

These poles can be combined with brushes, angle adapters, hoses and accessories compatible with the Unger nLITE range.

The hose is guided along the outside of the pole. Before buying a brush or adapter, check that it corresponds to the generation and connection type being used.

They can also be connected to DI, Nano or reverse osmosis systems using the appropriate hoses and connections.

3-metre extension for the Unger HiFlo nLite aluminium master handle. Compatible with the AN60G (6 m) and AN45G (4.5 m) master handles. Adding this extension increases the total reach to up to 9 metres. Yellow warning zone to help prevent unintentional separation between handles. 30 GPa rigidity, 1.1 kg weight and 1.69-metre collapsed length.

Configuration of the nLITE Connect aluminium poles

The modular structure allows you to use only the main pole or add an extension when greater reach is required.

AN45G: 4.50 metre main pole.
AN60G: 6.00 metre main pole.
AN30G: 3.00 metre telescopic extension.

No more than one AN30G extension should be used with the aluminium main poles. Exceeding the configuration specified by the manufacturer increases flex, weight and control difficulty.

Aluminium versus carbon

Aluminium offers strength and a lower initial cost. Carbon reduces weight and increases rigidity, especially when working for many hours or at greater heights.

The choice should be based on the usual working height, frequency of use and the level of effort the operator can safely manage.

Use and inspection before work

Before extending the pole, check the clamps, telescopic sections, hose and brush attachment. Always respect the warning zone on each section and the maximum permitted configuration.

Maintain a safe distance from power lines, wiring and other obstacles. The aluminium pole conducts electricity and must not be used near live electrical installations.
