Unger HydroPower Nano Basic — the new generation of pure water systems
The Unger HydroPower Nano is the most significant technological advance in pure water systems in recent years. It incorporates a filtration nanomembrane that works in combination with traditional DI technology, multiplying resin life by 14 compared with a conventional Ultra system. The result is a more efficient system that is more economical to maintain in the long term and completely autonomous — with no electricity, no pump and no connection to the mains.
NANOE Basic version — for those who already have a DI filter
This is the NANOE (Basic), designed for professionals who already have a HydroPower Ultra DI filter and want to add the nanomembrane to their existing system. How the 3-stage hybrid filtration system works
Stage 1 — Pre-filter: removes sediment, suspended particles and chlorine from mains water before it reaches the nanomembrane.
Stage 2 — Nanomembrane: the distinguishing element of the Nano system. The membrane retains most of the dissolved minerals before they reach the DI resin, dramatically reducing its consumption.
Stage 3 — DI resin: completes the purification process by removing residual minerals to produce water with TDS 0. Thanks to the previous stages, the resin lasts up to 14 times longer than in a conventional Ultra system.
No electricity, no pump — maximum flexibility on site
The HydroPower Nano operates solely using mains water pressure, with no need for an electrical connection or additional pump. This makes it completely autonomous and flexible in any location — car park, pavement or inside a building — without depending on sockets or generators.
Flow optimiser — precise flow-rate control
The integrated flow optimiser allows you to precisely adjust the output flow rate, pressure and resin consumption according to the requirements of each job. The flow rate can be increased for very dirty windows; for maintenance work, it can be reduced to extend resin life. The optimum balance between working speed and consumables costs.
Complete mobility — large wheels and pole holders
The HydroPower Nano frame is designed to move easily across any terrain. The large-diameter wheels allow it to be moved effortlessly over cobbles, kerbs and uneven surfaces. The integrated pole holders allow you to transport the assembled pole alongside the equipment without having to dismantle it between work locations.
Who is the HydroPower Nano for?
It is the ideal option for professionals with intensive daily use who want to reduce resin costs in the long term, and for those working in areas with very hard water where resin consumption with Ultra systems is very high. The additional investment compared with the Ultra is quickly recouped in hard-water areas with frequent use.
