Unger Soft Rubber Blade — the soft rubber blade for cold temperatures and uneven surfaces
The Unger Soft rubber blade is the soft rubber blade for professional use in conditions where the material’s greater flexibility makes a difference. Its softer rubber adapts better to surfaces with minor irregularities and provides greater grip on the glass in low temperatures.
When should you choose the Soft rubber blade?
Cold temperatures — in winter or in areas with little sunlight, hard rubber becomes rigid and loses grip on the glass. The Soft rubber blade retains its flexibility in cold conditions and ensures clean water removal when the Hard blade would leave streaks.
Uneven surfaces — glass with slight undulations, lightly textured surfaces or frames with raised sections where the rubber blade needs to adapt. The greater flexibility of the soft rubber allows the blade to follow the surface profile without leaving areas unwiped.
Interior work with little water — when working with a small amount of cleaning solution, the Soft rubber blade provides more grip and removes the film of water more effectively than the Hard blade in the same conditions.
Double edge — twice the service life
Like all Unger rubber blades, the Soft has two sharp edges. When the first edge loses its effectiveness, turn it around and work with the second edge — doubling the service life at no extra cost.
