The Hard rubber blade from Unger is a hard rubber blade for intensive professional use. Its greater rigidity compared with the Soft rubber blade gives it faster movement across the glass and greater durability, especially in high-temperature conditions where softer rubber blades lose effectiveness and wear out more quickly.
When should you choose the Hard rubber blade?
High temperatures — in summer or in areas with a lot of direct sunlight, soft rubber heats up and loses tension, leaving streaks. The Hard rubber blade maintains its rigidity and edge in hot conditions where the Soft rubber blade fails.
Large, smooth surfaces — on large windows, shop windows and glazed façades where wide channels and long movements are used, the greater rigidity of the Hard rubber blade allows faster movement without losing control of the water removal.
Daily intensive use — the Hard rubber blade has greater durability than the Soft rubber blade under intensive professional use, reducing how often it needs to be replaced.
Double edge — twice the service life
Like all Unger rubber blades, the Hard has two sharp edges. When the first edge loses effectiveness, turn the rubber blade over and work with the second edge — doubling the service life of each blade at no extra cost.
Hard, Soft, Power or Green Label?
Soft — soft rubber for low temperatures, delicate glass and working with little water. More grip but less movement.
Hard (this product) — hard rubber for high temperatures, large surfaces and intensive use. Faster movement and greater durability.
