HydroPower RO S Unger resin filter RORE2 — DI polishing cartridge for the RO20C
The RORE2 cartridge is the ion-exchange resin filter used in the final purification stage of the HydroPower RO S (RO20C). In reverse osmosis systems, the membrane removes most minerals from the water but does not always achieve 0 TDS — the DI resin cartridge completes the purification to ensure water with 0 TDS at the outlet. When the resin is exhausted, the output TDS starts to rise and the cartridge must be replaced.
When should it be replaced?
Replace the RORE2 cartridge when the equipment’s TDS meter continuously shows a value above 10 ppm. In RO systems, the resin cartridge lasts significantly longer than in a pure DI system because it receives water that has already been partially purified by the membrane.
Compatibility
Exclusively compatible with the HydroPower RO S (RO20C). Not compatible with the RO M or RO60C, which use the higher-capacity cartridge available in the HydroPower accessories section.
