ErgoTec Ninja 40° Unger — the benchmark professional squeegee in its 40-degree version
The ErgoTec Ninja 40° is Unger’s high-end complete squeegee in its version with a handle angled 40° forwards. It includes an ErgoTec handle with TriLoc, a T6 aluminium Ninja channel and a professional soft double-edged rubber blade — everything needed for streak-free, mark-free cleaning on any type of glass.
ErgoTec handle with TriLoc
The ErgoTec handle features the TriLoc mechanism — a three-position swivel and locking system that lets you adjust the channel’s angle relative to the handle according to the working angle. Especially useful when working with a telescopic pole or on glass at different heights, without needing to change your body position.
Extruded T6 aluminium Ninja channel
Made from advanced-technology T6 aluminium — it does not bend under pressure, distributes pressure optimally along the entire length of the rubber blade and allows the rubber blade to be changed in seconds without tools.
Professional soft double-edged rubber blade
The included soft rubber blade is the usual choice for indoor work, low temperatures and glass requiring an especially gentle touch. Its two sharp edges allow you to turn it over when one edge becomes worn, doubling its service life.
30° or 40° for working at height with a telescopic pole?
The manufacturer recommends the 40° version for working at height. The reason is that the greater handle angle makes it easier for the rubber blade to contact the glass as the squeegee is raised — the rubber blade rests more naturally against the glass with the pole in an almost vertical position.
However, based on our experience with professionals in the field, we have observed that many prefer the 30° version when working with a telescopic pole. When working at height, you need to move away from the glass to manoeuvre the pole, and this distance already creates an additional angle. With the 40°, this combined angle can cause the rubber blade to bounce when pulling down instead of gliding cleanly.
There is no universal answer — it depends on your technique, the height at which you work and the type of glass. If you are unsure, call us and we will advise you based on your specific situation.
