Unger ErgoTec EGC10 window scraper blade guard — spare part for EG100 and EG150
The EGC10 guard is the replacement plastic cover for the Unger ErgoTec EG100 and EG150 window scrapers. It fits over the blade when the scraper is not in use, protecting it from dust and impacts, and preventing accidental cuts when handling the tools.
What is the guard used for?
The blade of a professional window scraper is extremely sharp. Without a guard, any accidental contact when looking for the tool in the bucket or bag can cause a cut. In addition, storing the blade without protection exposes it to impacts that can deform the edge and reduce its performance. The EGC10 guard solves both problems simply.
When should it be replaced?
The plastic guard can break or crack with continued use, especially if it is dropped on the floor or forced into place. As it is a low-cost part, it is worth always keeping a spare available so you do not work with the blade unprotected.
Compatibility — two sizes available
Available in two sizes corresponding to the two ErgoTec scraper models:
- 10 cm — for the ErgoTec EG100 scraper
