Unger Teleplus GKL29 threaded plate — spare part for Teleplus system clamps
The GKL29 threaded plate is the original Unger spare part for the clamps used on the Teleplus telescopic handle system. It is the part that allows the clamp to apply pressure and secure each handle section in the desired position.
Which clamps use the GKL29?
The clamps on Teleplus poles are not all the same. The first clamp from the top uses only the GKL25 threaded clamp. The following clamps — 2nd, 3rd and 4th — each have two GKL29 threaded plates, always working together with the GKL25. The more sections the pole has, the more GKL29 plates it needs.
When does it need replacing?
The threaded plate wears with continued use, particularly if the clamp is tightened and loosened frequently. When the clamp no longer secures the section properly or you notice that it is losing tension, the first step is to inspect and replace the GKL29 plate before replacing the complete clamp.
Compatibility
Compatible with Unger telescopic handles from the Teleplus system. It is not compatible with other Unger pole systems (nLITE, OptiLoc). If you are unsure which spare part you need for your handle, call us on 627 588 844 / 605 193 932.
